A firm built around the people it serves

Good representation starts with understanding what a client actually needs, and the community they live and work in. From Miracle Mile to the historic Biltmore, our roots in Miami-Dade shape how we advocate every day.

Few Coral Gables firms offer both full legal services and in-house title operations. That structure lets us manage a real estate matter from the first draft to the closing table, take on disputes without delay, and keep every moving part in one place. For our clients, that means a faster, smoother process and the assurance that each step is legally sound.

Our work covers contract law, real estate, estate planning, family law, personal injury, and criminal defense, alongside full title and escrow services. Whatever brings you in, you work with people who answer the phone and stay with your matter to the end.

  • Everything under one roof

Full legal services and an in-house title company together. Your contract, your closing, and any dispute are handled by one team, not sent down the street.

  • Real courtroom experience

Our founder has tried cases across South Florida and stays on your matter from the first call through verdict, without bringing in outside trial counsel.

  • Local and reachable

We were born and built in Coral Gables. We know the neighborhoods, the property market, and the courts, and a real person answers when you call.

Reynaldo A. Martinez

Founder and Trial Lawyer, RAM Law and Title, PLLC

Rey Martinez spent a decade in complex civil litigation and came home to practice differently. He led the trial team at MSP Recovery Law Firm for several years. He sat first and second chair in hearings and depositions across the country. He identified, retained, and presented his own expert witnesses, and he cross-examined the other side's. He served as class counsel in class actions certified in state and federal court. He argued in a federal appellate court while still in law school. In April 2014 the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the highest court in the military justice system, convened at Florida International University College of Law to hear United States v. Jones, No. 14-0071/AR. The appeal turned on a suppression question: whether a soldier's statement, taken without warnings, should have been kept out. Under the court's Project Outreach program, one student is invited to appear as amicus curiae. Rey, then a third-year evening student, was selected. He wrote the brief, filed under the supervision of Professor Eric Carpenter, a retired Army judge advocate, and argued it for ten minutes before a five-judge panel. The court recognized his work with a Military Challenge Coin. Rey was born and raised in Miami and has practiced here his entire career. He knows the clients, he knows how business gets done in this county, and he knows these courts. He founded RAM Law and Title to bring that work to a different kind of client. The discipline complex litigation demands does not scale down. A case that is modest in dollars is often the most important thing in a client's life, and it gets the preparation a certified class action gets. That is also why the contracts drafted at this firm are drafted by a litigator. A decade spent attacking agreements in court teaches you which provisions fail and exactly how. Most contracts are written by lawyers who have never had to defend one. These are not. Clients have direct access to Rey. As the firm grows, the lawyer you hired stays on the case: accountable for it, engaged with its strategy, and reachable. That is not a service promise. It is how the firm is built, and it is the reason the firm stays small enough to keep it.

Danielle Urrutia

Chief Operating Officer

Chief Operating Officer Danielle Urrutia came to law from hospitality. She oversees operations, scheduling, hiring, and training, on the legal side and the title side both. She built the systems and she trained the people who run them. In hospitality, leaving a guest waiting is a failure. Lawyers are worse at this than they should be. Rey tries the cases. Danielle keeps the firm running while he does. Community Involvement Danielle is active in South Florida's craft-beverage and small-business community. A number of the firm's clients came from those rooms: breweries, bakeries, food trucks, and other service businesses that needed a lawyer who understood how they actually operate.
